WHO STOLE MY MONEY?

I was scheduled to train at a session on Friday morning. So I rushed off to work after dropping the children in school.

I got to the office few minutes to the training time. I dropped my bag on the table and went straight for the training.

After the training, I found my bag open, and few notes were missing out of the money I kept in it.

‘WHO TOOK MY MONEY?

This is not the first time this is happening but today, I will not let this slide.

I already plan to buy small chops and fish barbecue out of the money’.

My colleagues reminded me that our core value is intergrity and no one can ever steal my money, but I Insisted that it should be investigated.Thankfully, the CCTV was on.

After the investigation, it turned out that no one went close to my bag and I dropped the bag with the zip opened.

I was so ashamed but I needed to know who or what stole my money. So I took my pen and wrote everything I bought out of the money I withdrew the previous day. Then I realised that the money was spent by me.

I am sure most of us can relate with my story.

That is how most people live their lives.

You spend out of budget then you start wondering who took your money.

Do not be an impulsive buyer.

Have plan for your money or your money will have plan for you.

Nobody stole my money. It is called money leakage.

1k here, 2k there and the chain goes on. If you calculate it, you are loosing money and you may think it is small.

You may be carelessly spending what you think is small but if you calculate how much you have wasted just because you were not planning how you spend, you will be amazed.

LET US DO THE MATHS.

In Nigerian Naira.

If you take a bottle of drink every day and it is sold for $150, how much will that be in a year?

One year: N54,750

On the other hand, if you save N150 every day, how much will you have in a year? Same N54,750.

You must deliberately cut down unnecessary spending on your way to financial freedom.

Discipline is the key word.

Doing your money maths involves a plan.

What do you want your money to do for you?

What kind of life do you plan to live?

Do you want to retire and still be struggling or you want to retire and enjoy what you have earned at your active age?

Do you want to work for money all your life? Or you want money to work for you?

It is up to you to decide.
